Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming.
Finding Nemo I am not, but I found myself thinking that today.
Books to read, notes to review, facts to memorize, deadlines
to meet. Someday I will look back on this time and think
"Lindsey! Your only responsibility was to do well in school.
What were you stressed about?" Okay I am being dramatic.
Life is overall good these days. I visited home Saturday
after a successful day at the hospital. This nursing thing
is coming together. I am by no means ready to be let loose,
but things are becoming clearer and I am less often thinking
to myself, "What do I do now?!!!"
Home was good I miss my dog. And my Grandmother had
a Thanksgiving dinner prepared when Trey and I arrived on
Sunday. We spent the day their and on Monday I drove back
home for my doctor visit. I am officially to old to see my
favorite pediatric orthopedist I have seen since I was
13. How depressing!
I love my new doctor he seems
so understanding and down to earth. However he did put some
strict limits on my gym routine (how rude)! So here it is:
From here on out No squats, No dead lifts, and No over head
weight lifting of any kind that could put pressure on my back.
I have had a small fracture for a long time but haven't had any
trouble with it since I quit cheerleading until the other day
when I got a sharp pain while I was running on the treadmill.
Well the fracture hasn't moved but according to my Dr. it most
likely will at some point, but for now I am still able to run!
Thank the Lord running is the only thing that keeps me
from going nuts on rainy days like today!
