Trips, Family, and Oh Boy! It's a BOY!

Way to long since my last post and life update!

Brad and I have had a few trips and adventures,

as well as more exciting news since my last entry.

I have been so blessed by my trip home these sweet faces make my heart so happy!

Fall is here! Oh Happy Day!

Brad has his fall week off, so we traveled east to Virginia

and DC. We visited family and saw new things. Then a 

couple weeks later I got to head home and visit more family and 

friends. Time with those I've have known for so long are the sweetest 

and shortest moments these days. Following my trip though I

couldn't have been more excited to be home with Brad.

This Guy! I couldn't be more happy to share this crazy life with him!

Brad and I found out we will be having a baby BOY in march

this month as well! Lots of blue thoughts on the brain these days! 

Also, fall is in full swing except for the temperature all things fall 

reign.

Next week we will finally be in the 80's in Texas, also
The Texas State Fair is set to begin! Brad and I are off
work for a whole vacation week! I am so pumped to see
this guy for a full week! We will be seeing family and
sight seeing in the Virginia/DC area hence the fun outfit
inspiration post! Baby P checked out well at the last appointment
and we will hopefully know what we are having after our next appointment!!

Baby it's September

Hello friends!

Things are moving along these days. I am working

4-6 days a week with the new travel job and my full

time Med City job, which makes the weeks fly! 

I am enjoying travel nursing just a long drive in the mornings.

We are now 14 weeks with Baby P, and had The PCBC Stork

visit our Sunday School class last week. Half of our Care Group 

is expecting and all of our baby's due dates are exactly 10 weeks

apart! 

It will be great to have new moms around to exchange

tips and struggles with! Apparently day care spots are highly

demanded as the first day care I called told me there was a 1 1/2

year wait list for infant care. To bad we didn't sign up before we 

moved to Texas lol.

In other news....Football is back and Labor Day is here!

Brad is on ER rotations and I am enjoying taking the weekend 

off and browsing nursery ideas online!

Child Bride and Baby Peden

Today we celebrate our third wedding anniversary! 

Our time together has been such a blessing to me as 

Brad has been an amazing forgiver, encourager, and 

the best bear hug giver I know! I can't believe how

young we look in this picture! Baby faces for sure!

Also, we have some big news to share! We are expecting a

baby in March! March 1, 2017! Aw it sounds so weird to even type!

We are excited and I am nervous about all the change that

is coming. Brad says people have children everyday and 

if they get through it we will too... (if only there were emoji options

on my screen.)

Any way I have had two appointments so far and things have gone well.

My doctor is from of all places Dothan, AL! I had no idea before the

appointment, but on my first visit my doctor asked where in Alabama I 

was from and she knew where Enterprise was (shocker!). She is very kind

and has a great bedside manner (women after my own heart.)

We are so thankful for this blessing from God and are praying for a healthy

pregnancy and baby. Also we covet your prayers as we prepare to be parents

and everyday examples of our Lord's loving kindness to our new baby.

With the weeks craziness and sad circumstances in our

city this song seemed to say what I have felt since Thursday

night in Dallas. Is there any more difficult job than that of our

law enforcement? I am so thankful for those 

men and women who run toward danger as everyone else

seeks safety in order to protect and serve the citizens of their

city and home.

Summer Travel

In July my sweet dad turned sixty. I was so glad

we were able to visit for his birthday party and to have an early 

Father's Day visit with both our dads. We also got to see some 

awesome cousins, aunts, and uncles while we were home!

Gosh! I love family...have I said that lately??

Weekend in Review:

This first picture is actually from the end of my trip, but its the only picture

with just me and Dad, So its taking the lead. I love taking morning walks

when I visit home. Our family has two Labs and they make great strolling partners,

plus you rarely get away from traffic in Dallas so the lovely country roads are 

a treat.

Below are no make up pictures, so be warned. They are also 

priceless reminders of the short time I got to be with these 

sweet souls this summer. Baby Harlee is a doll and her

mommy Emilie is such a great mom!

Abby and Angel are to of a kind. Love it when I get to 

spend the day with them. If we ever get to live in the same city

again Brad may have to make me leave there home. Not pictured

is Abby's little heart throb brother Luke.  

Everyone was full after we ate the birthday spread on the pier.

I loved seeing Brandon and Janie for the first time after their 

wedding! Janie is the best. Brandon and

 Janie are truly partners in crime at the grill.

and as always they brought a bit of Louisiana to share

with everyone this time we had boudin as an appetizer.

My father's side of the family. I just adore these folks!

One thing I love about south Alabama in the summer is the rain

showers each afternoon. It is the perfect excuse to find a book and

rest in the afternoon before coming back out to the lake for an evening 

ski session.

Favorite Things Dallas

This spring has flown by, but in between working 

I have enjoyed getting to know the city better. There

are always new restaurants, shops, and neighborhoods to visit.

Wicked at Fair Park was so good, and I loved

getting to visit with my sweet coworkers outside of the 

hospital!

Over Memorial Day Brad and I visited Rockwall. Its only 30 min from 

Dallas proper and their harbor and downtown are so stink'n cute.

After walking the harbor docks and shops we attended a small 

concert on the town square and ate homemade popsicles from a 

local shop owners rolling ice chest (fancy fancy lol).

Our care group had a sweet gender reveal for Anna-Layne and 

Brandon. They will be welcoming a baby boy in October!

The spring also brought lots of showers which means 

excuses to explore the plethora of grocery stores and

markets Dallas has to offer and catching up on my DFW 

Literature!

Brandon and Janie

Since we last met my older brother Brandon and 

his gorgeous bride were married in North Carolina. 

Here's a recap of the gorgeous weekend:

Janie's Bridal Brunch on Friday was in the darling downtown

of Statesville, North Carolina, where she grew up! I loved the

with cakes and charms we all received in our deserts. Sweet

Abby and Angel came to brunch with us too!

The Friday night rehearsal and dinner were a blast! 

Are they not a gorgeous couple? Love them!!

Of course the weekend called for a couple of snapchats...

And then came The Big Day!

The wedding was on Janie's Family Farm. The

weather was perfect and all the lush green was so 

refreshing after being in Dallas these days.

April Updates

Spring has sprung and pollen abounds! Brad and I have had a full week of yucky colds! I rarely get sick so I'm a bit of a baby when it happens, but we are recovering well! Easter was fun we both got to attend church and volunteered in the nursery for second service. 

When we got back from Austin our mailbox was full of happy mail for Brandon and Janie's wedding weekend events! Her invite above was hand painted with great spring flowers and this months Southern Living sent me strait to the flower section at Lowes for some impromptu container gardening! 

We found an apartment and have it starting May 5th so we plan to move a little at a time. In other news our care group is growing! This fall a little Clemson Fan will join the group! This was The Schneider's birth announcement this past week! They are the sweetest!
