Weddings...More

Forever behind I am still posting December pictures,

but this week has had a little excitement with 

southerners braving winter weather! Ha! Our friends who

regularly deal with the snow must think we are silly with 

all the ruckus a few snow flakes have caused.

Miss Sara got married in December! We had a ball 

with this beautiful bride!

Brad attended sweet Cecil and Emily's wedding on the 

very same day, but headed south after the wedding festivities!

Rehearsal Dinner!!

Most of our January evenings have been spent sipping

coffee or hot chocolate and reading (or studying if your

Brad) after making yummy meals with Chef Manny!

Shop

Holiday shopping was a blast this year Brad and I 

(now!) have three little nieces who we get to shop for 

and I so enjoyed browsing some of the most girlie 

websites ever! 

We ended up choosing a gym suit for leah, a monogrammed dress from

lollywollydoodle for hannah, and a sweet custom onsie from etsy for Molly!

Birthday Fun

Another 20 something birthday brought on a little blues

why cant we all live to 17 and then never get any older just stay 

young as the years go buy? Turning another year older

called for an impromptu dress up session full of

polka dots and girly accessories to beat the birthday blues.

Brad and I traveld to my most favorite eating establishment 

for a Berry Good Salad! And it was very very good!

He always makes an extra effort to celebrate the holidays!

(Mostly because I hint at how exciting they are often)

Rose got married on my birthday this year and we were so 

happy to help her celebrate! And we got to see lots of 

sweet Enterprise friends!!

Iphone Purge

Do you ever get the urge to clear out your iPhone?

I have a disturbing amount of screen shots and 

random daily photos on my never to far from 

hand iphone. What did I do before it? Anyway

In an attempt to organize and simplify I have uploaded 

the photos I want to keep to the computer and cleared that

is DELETED all others from my phone! Yes that word frightens me!

What If I decided I want to use those dearly beloved screen 

shots in some way next month?! Odds are I won't and ditching

the extra photos make me feel like I have lightened my 

load. So I am going to fill in some blog blanks from 

last fall. Here it goes!

Can I be honest here? I live for my off days! I have a work ethic 

and I know the Lord made us to work and be productive, but I enjoy 

off days and look forward to the each week. Above is our Thanksgiving 

table festivities. We barely eat at our table but I love it so much. It was

my grandmothers fancy and trendy 70s dinning room table and my

dad and brothers sanded it and painted it for me last fall before Brad and I 

got married! I love family projects!

Decorating for Christmas was so much fun this year! Brad was a little 

overwhelmed with all the holiday spirit, but I tried to only play 

Pandoras christmas stations while he was not home!

I guess I was in the polka dot mood when I went ribbon shopping this year!

And finally the Poo Pouri...My grandmother sent this ahead when 

she found out Christmas would be spent at our apartment this year! 

Each bottle has both Santa and Mrs. Claus face on it and it was

a real hit in the extra bath while my family was with us!

Christmas Review

The tree is all put away and we are exhausted from this holiday

season. Don't get me wrong I love the holidays as much as the next

holiday elf, but we have made an effort to see and be at as 

many holiday gatherings as possible this season. Holiday cheer

was snuck tightly between a not to fun work schedule, birthdays,

and (my favorite!) weddings. That being said life and our precious

Lord and Savior is good!

This year we had a real christmas tree it was a Fraiser Fur. The 

tree fit in well with our apartment, it was shorter than Brad and

he carried it to the register at Home Depot under one arm (Ha!).

On a positive note: His hands smelled like Pine for the rest of the day.

Many mornings were spent sipping coffee and gazing at our little 

holiday Fur.

We were finally able to fill our table on Christmas Day with 

our Juliska Dishes and some very dear family members.

Mom made a cheesy breakfast casserole (which reminds me

of Christmas at home.) and we

drank coffee while face timing poor Dad who was unable to 

make the journey home the Christmas. We enjoyed giving our 

families fun little treasures and we received way more than 

we deserved. Can't wait for more holidays and apartment 

memories with my sweet husband. Happy 2014!!
