I knew we wouldn't have much time on the 4th to celebrate so I tried a new recipe on Sunday instead! Berries and Cream makes any recipe edible in my book!

Med School and Christmas Trees
Well summer has gotten off to a wonderful start and I must say it is flying by!
Brad took his last med school shelf yesterday, and then we
Went to quick trip to The Ham so he could talk with his advisor
about possible residency locations. Medical School has flown by on
my end....then again I have not been the one doing all the studying
and clinical time (thank goodness these people are hard core.)
Anyway Brad and I are pretty excited to continue our little
love story at yet another location! After the meeting we came home
hit the gym (body pump. It had been a whole since that class.!),
and went to an end of the year get together at Russ's House.
It was good to get to see all Brad's School Friends again. I am
thankful for sweet med school wife friends. Emily who is an
Elementary School Teacher has the biggest heart and when we catch up
I feel less isolated in a room full of doctor people. 😉

Tonight I'm seeing another one of Brads school friends whose husband
is over seas in The National Guard. Tiffany is a riot she has decided
To decorate Christmas trees for each holiday while Dave, her husband,
Is gone. So tonight we will be decorating a green Christmas Tree in all
red, white, and blue decor. More soon bloggers.

Beach and Graduation
It seems like every devotional marriage book we
have read together suggests taking a trip together out of town,
so Brad and I chose a quick beach trip for our first weekend get away.
Great beach views and extra yummy dinners were enjoyed by
us both! And of course we had fun just the two of us away from home
for a couple of days.
So happy for Sabrina one of my best friends who recently graduated
from Pharmacy School at Samford.
While I was at the graduation I also got to see another
dear friend Logan's Office! She is so grown up!!
Birthdays and Boat Rides
Porch blogging today then back to work tomorrow! Laundry in the washer,
dishwasher running, and cleaning has begun...so while waiting for clothes and dishes
to get clean I thought I'd share a few moments from the past month.
First Brad had a birthday! I wanted to make a cake, but his request was cheese cake
so Publix seemed easier and a safer bet than attempting that. Also, his request was
for Protein (work out lover) and the KFC Double Down Sandwich. So
his birthday dinner occurred at good ole KFC.
Happy Birthday Brad! I love this man to pieces!!
Also, last month I decided to make a last minute trip to Gantt
and see my family while Brad was on call. It is the most
beautiful place to me, and there are so many memories
from my childhood at every inch of that place.
One of may favorite parts of the day is the time just before and after the
sunshine makes its first appearance. There are so many birds chirping
and even roosters crowing. It is so peaceful and bible reading is while
Molly sits next to me never gets old.
It was so great getting to spend time with my family. Especially my
Dad who also gets up early and accompanies me both on the pier
and random nature walks (I love being outdoors).
