Car Issues

Well its Tuesday and it is day two without a car. Yesterday my car wouldn't start so I had to get someone to jump off the car and drop it off at the dealership. The lady sounded like I would have it back by the end of the day, but after calling her this morning she assured me it should be this afternoon when they get it ready.

 Wedding season continues with a close friend getting ready to walk down the aisle this weekend. Her Nashville bachelorette was a blast, and we enjoyed getting to know her cousin and soon to be sister-in-law during the weekend. 

No news on the job or house hunt…

Meanwhile the sun has finally come out after 4 days of straight rain! Happy Spring!

House Hunting

Days when both Brad and I are off seem to be the most

productive days around here. Yesterday we got lots of clothes

for Brad's residency work, I finally took a bridesmaids dress in for alteration,

we cleaned off our porch furniture which is supposed to be white, but because

of the recent pollen season was yellow looking, and searched online for both

a place to live and a couch for our new place.

Meanwhile Spring Has Sprung! I love running outside during this season…every
other season I am pro treadmill all the way!

The realtor we are working with is good! He sends us daily emails

with new listings of both rental homes and apartments. Brad has

called me over the past two days with,"Lindsey I found our house come see."

And yes he has found the best looking ones as he clicked through the 

listing our realtor sent. We have been disappointed a couple of times

as we have "liked" the listings and after thinking about them for a 

day or so…They have all been leased. 

I got some sweet doggy kisses from sweet Molly girl
the other day! Missing her being by my side today!

Yesterday, we contacted the realtor and said we

 wanted to move forward with one particular listing though 

and plan to visit our new city at the end of April! We are

getting more and more excited as we are now talking about 

moving logistics, and cleaning out closets!

Birthday Wishes

Mom came to Tuscaloosa for Trey's spring break 

which happened to be the week after Match Day, so 

we celebrated Match and Birthday with lots of home 

cooked meals, sweets, and get togethers with my 

brothers too!

                                

                       

                                

Our dog molly is like the baby of the family now that

all the kids are gone from home. My parents love

her so!

                                           

Brandon got the very best cake! Its called a Chantilly Cake! I 

am now thinking of every kind of occasion for us 

to have another one! Easter is coming soon guys! (Berry Fanatic)

                                           

We Matched!

A few weeks behind of course, but I am happy

to say we matched at UT Southwestern in Dallas.

What a happy and grateful day it was! 

Following 

the match ceremony at The Alabama Theater

we ate lunch with family and then visited a friend in

town until it was time for the post match party at
 The McWane Center.

                     

We couldn't be more excited about moving to a new place and

starting the next chapter of our medical adventure! We our thankful

for everyone who has already offered to contact their friends and

family in Dallas so we can find out more about where to live and 

play! God is good and he has provided!
