Brandon and Janie

Since we last met my older brother Brandon and 

his gorgeous bride were married in North Carolina. 

Here's a recap of the gorgeous weekend:

Janie's Bridal Brunch on Friday was in the darling downtown

of Statesville, North Carolina, where she grew up! I loved the

with cakes and charms we all received in our deserts. Sweet

Abby and Angel came to brunch with us too!

The Friday night rehearsal and dinner were a blast! 

Are they not a gorgeous couple? Love them!!

Of course the weekend called for a couple of snapchats...

And then came The Big Day!

The wedding was on Janie's Family Farm. The

weather was perfect and all the lush green was so 

refreshing after being in Dallas these days.

April Updates

Spring has sprung and pollen abounds! Brad and I have had a full week of yucky colds! I rarely get sick so I'm a bit of a baby when it happens, but we are recovering well! Easter was fun we both got to attend church and volunteered in the nursery for second service. 

When we got back from Austin our mailbox was full of happy mail for Brandon and Janie's wedding weekend events! Her invite above was hand painted with great spring flowers and this months Southern Living sent me strait to the flower section at Lowes for some impromptu container gardening! 

We found an apartment and have it starting May 5th so we plan to move a little at a time. In other news our care group is growing! This fall a little Clemson Fan will join the group! This was The Schneider's birth announcement this past week! They are the sweetest!

March Happenings

 A review of our blessings over the last couple weeks: 

1. I love this group (a few missing).They are formally known as our Care Group, but I'm growing to think of them as our Dallas family. Last night we bowled for the first time since Brad and I got married and had such a fun time with this crew! 

2. Both Brad's Mom and my Mom were born in March, so I've been getting bday gifts sent this week! Aka fun times in some stores I don't usually have an ecxuse to visit. Below is Hobby Lobby and y'all know I love Pottery Barn.

3. After a care group birthday party I had a Pottery Barn package on my porch! It was from my Bama Bestie Sabrina who sent me a lovely Easter hand towel! I'm so happy for them as they matched this week for her husband's ER Residency at UAB. 

4. Also, I hated to miss my sweet sister-in-law Janie's wedding shower in Atlanta! My mom thankfully sent me lots of pictures so I did get to see how beautiful the whole brunch/shower was!  This weekend is her Bachelorette Bash in Colorado (she is so adventurous) skiing. Again I am missing out, but I know she will have a blast with her girls that were able to make the trip! So happy for my brother he has such a sweet bride to be! 

5. And who couldn't give God the glory for such a precious bundle of joy?!? Baby Crawford's picture came last week. His darling parents attend PCBC with us and I am smitten with this birth announcement card! 

That about wraps up the sweet spots so far in March! Next week Brad takes step 3 and then we take it to Austin!! More soon! 

Tallahassee 2

 A couple more pictures from Florida... I had never been to FSU's Campus so we whirled by in the mist of our quick weekend visit. The scenery is so pretty with a good mix of Spanish miss and palm trees spread throughout the campus! 

It's always so good to catch up with sweet relatives! We love all that Dallas offers, but both are families are such a blessing and I was so recharged after getting to see them! 

After the wedding Brad's parents graciously gave us a ride back to the airport where we hopped on our ride back to Texas. I may be being dramatic, but it was so nice to enjoy the sunset on a half empty plane with Brad. No where to be, no distractions due to no wifi ( we couldn't get it to work...), just me and Brad watching the great view and spending time together. 

Good Times in Tallahassee

   Recently Brad's cousin got married in his hometown of Tallahassee! We enjoyed a brief trip and got to see his family which a such a treat! Below is a photo round up:

We are looking forward to visiting Austin later this month.
Brad has been studying every evening after getting home from
work so I am already planning our short trip to The Capital City!
We have heard lots of food suggestions as well as an outdoor
walking trail which I am so excited about, as there are limited nature
options in Dallas!

We will get back just in time for Easter Weekend
and I am looking forward to some Honey Baked Ham as well! Happy
spring thoughts are keeping me motivated since Dallas has had rain ALL WEEK!
