Fall 2008

Classes

Fall 2008 was my first semester in college. I attended Enterprise Ozark Community College! I didn't expect to much excitement because i had been going there during high school because in 2007 a tornadoe hit our high school. However, i definatley think God ment for me to stay at home for my first two years. Looking back i dont think i could have made it through my first semester without being with my family! I had Music Appreciation, Biology, English Comp. 1, and Math 100. My music teacher Mr.Thomas was a very sweet man i learned from him to not take life to seriously. He was always whistleing and singing gospel songs such as Amazing Grace. My biology teacher had taught at my school for like thirty years so her class was kinda dull because she new the material so well that i think she had gotten board with it. Math 100 was pretty much a review of math from high school and though it wont transfer it was a good review before i took my real math class the next semester. And lastly i had English 101 i enjoyed this class because my teacher Mrs.Eason was so cool you could really tell she loved her job. Also she didnt look down on us but shared her life story with us and gave us some tips on life from the mistakes she had made during her college years.I made all A's during my first semester i was pretty proud of myself.

Clubs and Hobbies

I also joined several clubs at school i joined the FIT Team, the Mentors, the Diamond Dolls and because i had a 3.5 GPA i was inducted into PTK which is the Honor Society at the school. These occupied my time when i wasn't studying or working. I worked at Enterprise School of Dance as an Apprentice and at Enterprise Gymnastics Center as a gymnastics instructor. On the weekends when i didn't have much homework i tried to visit my friends as much as i could. I made it to Troy, Birmingham Southern, and Samford. Ialso visited UAB and i really think that is where i'm supposed to be after EOCC. I learned a few thing about myself during fall semster i found that i love cards...Birthday cards,Wedding Cards,Holiday Cards all kinds and i love to make them i made alot for my friends over the semester. I also found that i love weddings i love to look at magazines i love to watch wedding shows i love to dream about my wedding! Baby sitting has become another hobby and you can make a little extra money on the side too!

Monthly Celbrations

In October the school had its anual Founders Day it was like a big party they had music with JB Roberts and Food and we had three leg races in teams! In November everyone came home from college it was so nice to see my friends! We had bible study at the Mcqueens and our Sunday School class got together and had a bon fire!In December we had many Christmas Parties and i got to dress up as and elf for one at another one we wrapped presents for the less fortunate children in our area. Also for Brad's Christmas present i got him tickets to the Caveliers game he loves Lebron James so we went to the game in Atlanta the day before my birthday and then we went shopping in Birmingham on my birthday!Then once everyone got home we had our 08 christmas party and New Years we wen to Kamarons for a Party!
