Royal Family Kids Camp

For the last week i have been at Royal Family Kids Camp. This camp is specifically for abused and neglected children ages 6-12 i had the opportunity to be a counselor for two six year olds. It was my first year on Sunday we had our training session i didn't realize how important it was to watch what you say and do around these children. For example, we could not bring cameras to the camp because they want the children's identities to be kept secret. On Monday the children arrived some of them had been raped others had been victims of other types of abuse!
By the end of the week i was very attached to my campers these poor babies have hardly started there lives and they have already been taken advantage of! Who would want to hurt a child? I defiantly think everyone should find a way to serve children it is very rewarding God will work on your heart in many ways! I'm so thankful God worked on my heart the way he did.
