Beautiful Creation

This morning my devotion came from Psalm 19:1-6, i use the Message bible so my translation is a little different than the traditional. But this set of verses seems to paint a picture of how god show his love through his creation.

Verse six says: That's how Gods Word vaults across the skies
from sunrise to sunset,
Melting ice, scorching deserts,
warming hearts to faith.

God could have made our world in plain black and white but instead he took the time to plan out and coordinate the colors of the leaves, the grass, the sky. What an artist God must be. The greatness of nature makes me feel so small and yet so cared for. God loves us so much that he gave great though to this world he put us in.

Prayer requests: Focus during school
Help me to slow down and take in your beauty each day
Help me to see you in the mist of my everyday routine
Help me to be a stepping stone not a stumbling block for others on the way to your kingdom.
