Last Friday we had snow that's right snow in Enterprise Alabama! I had a meeting at UAB at 11 so mom and i got up about 6:30 and started getting ready. We were worried we may not be able to travel on the roads but it turns out, other than the traffic being a little slow, we were okay! About 7 the rain turned into snowflakes! I was completely giddy about the whole thing. It snowed a few times in the past few years but it never seems to stick. On Friday though it was a winter wonderland!Here a few pictures from our trip.
This is the house and the car when we left on Friday morning!
We stopped in Montgomery at Chick-fil-a and got breakfast
here is mom with a snow ball from the windshield....And the
chick-fil-a chicken even got some snow!Have i mention how
much i adore chick-fil-a's breakfast? Well i pretty much love
their mini biscuits!!
Here's mom outside the UAB Hill Center it was just
starting to snowin Birmingham when we got their!
After UAB we went by Brad's so i could give him his Valentine's Day Gift!
And of course we had to go by and see Baby Abby
Clete, Angel, and i made a little snow man while mom
Hung out with Abby inside!
We got a little sleepy on the drive back so Starbucks was a must!
I liked their festive cups!
By the time we were back at home the ground
was covered in about a 4 inch blanket of snow
what a blast i put on some gloves and dad, molly,
and i made another snow man of course he had
to have a baseball helmet on.The season begins
on Monday! Go cats!
