Aunt Faye

I have missed blogging so much recently!

 My life has been rather busy lately though

 and i have not been taking my computer

home with me. The summer has

 flown by and i feel so blessed

to have gotten this first semester

 in Birmingham behind me! 

God is so wonderful he blesses me

everyday and i don't know what i would

 do without my wonderful family they

really keep me going.

This past week has been difficult one

 of my favorite great Aunts passed away 

she had gone through open heart surgery 

and was doing well when she suddenly

 went down hill.She was the second

 oldest of my Grandmothers 6 sisters

she was always so much fun to be around 

this picture was taken on New Years

 Day of this past year.

She was one of the most wonderful

 cooks you could imagine i will definitely

 miss her apple turnovers, tea cakes,

and pound cakes so much. She made

 them with love very

often for my family. 

After the funeral my family took some pictures

because it seems like the only time we get to see each other is at weddings or at funerals.

And all of my wonderful cousins...

well almost all of (5 couldn't make it) them i wish

we got to see each other more often!

I'm sure aunt Faye would have

loved to see us all together again! We will

miss her dearly i know she is in God's garden

working the day away!
