First let me say that I am relieved to be finished with
all regular tests and just found out my last Pharmacology
assignment was the highest grade all semester! Get it girl!
Now for finals!!!
Yesterday our bible study finished Romans and Paul
is pretty much amazing! I love the way he writes and
backs up all of his statements with facts and previous
happenings from the old testament. I feel like I
got a history lesson during this study. Not to mention
all the wonderful friendships God has formed through
our journey in Romans. So here are a couple things
I have gained from this semester's bible study.
I am an awful sinner and I am so happy to say
that my God loves me and has saved me by
his amazing grace. I don't have to pretend to
be perfect or have it all together because God
knows and loves me just the way I am.
That said my life is this tiny spec in the big
scheme of God's plan and I long to spend it
worshiping the greatness of my perfect savior!
I am not bound by the world or a slave to sin
nor am I under strict religious rules that I must
struggle to follow. I am here to please my father
and do what I can for the kingdom with what my
father has so greatly blessed me with.
And though in Romans 12 I got overwhelmed
by all the seemingly super human traits that
Paul says we should strive for I am comforted
that our God has given us the holy spirit to help
us in this life!!!
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating
and drinking but a matter of righteousness, peace, and
joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17
This Easter I am so very happy that my Jesus
has risen.
