First and most exciting news this post is that our
sweet friends Sabrina and John are now married!
The wedding and entire weekend was so much fun! I love
my high school friends so very much. They have all
changed in small ways, but are still each the
kind hearted and caring women I have always known.
The wedding was in Birmingham and the Venue was
magical at night. All the twinkly lights made everything
romantic and fun!
After the wedding I worked a couple of days and then we
headed to Dallas on a house hunt. All the houses we saw on
the internet had been taken by the time we got to Dallas.
Apparently the rental market in Dallas is hoppin.
There was one rental house the agent new about which we
reluctantly went and saw. As bad as we wanted to be in a house
it just wasn't what Brad and I had imagined. As we left the only
rental house the realtor had to show us we passed another home with a
For Rent sign in the yard just a few houses down from the original.
"How about that one?" I asked Brad. He waved the realtor over and
sure enough it was still available. We marched inside excitedly and decided
it was good enough that we wanted to put a contract down for it. We
continued to debate between house and apartment over night as the
apartments in The Medical District are very nice, but we slept on it and
decided on the house. We are excited to move now that we have a
place to call home once we get there.
