Fall break was a blast! My aunt and I flew to Las Vegas to
spend a couple of quality girl days out west before heading back to Arizona
where my parents are working. We spent our time walking up and down the strip
of Las Vegas gazing at all the bright lights and wonderful hotels. We stayed at
New York New York the hotel had a casino, a roller coaster, and inside it
looked like you were on the streets of down town New York.
There were many restaurants and shopping places along the
street. And each hotel had a specific theme and different attractions inside of
them. We left our hotel really early one morning and rode in a helicopter to the
Grand Canyon. I was nervous about the whole helicopter thing but it was a very
smooth ride. Seeing the sun rise over the mountains of the Grand Canyon while
in the air was so beautiful. We also landed in the canyon and had breakfast with
a bunch of cowboys from the ranch. Kind of cheesy but very tasty food and they
were all very friendly. Weddings were sat up at many different places and we
say women in wedding dresses every day we were there. Even at the canyon there
was a couple who had just gotten married who spent the night at the ranch and slept
in one of their Teepees. Vegas was neat but I also really enjoyed getting to
see where my parents have been living for the past year.
